Intern – Software Engineering (Web Development)

A Web Developer must have 1+ years of experience in the planning and the delivery of web applications across multiple platforms. A typical Web Developer job description should cover:

- Writing efficient code with respect to modern web technologies

- Creating web applications using standard HTML/CSS practices

- Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the web application

- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within stipulated time-frame

- Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation

- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down

- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built

- Familiarity with Software Object Oriented design and implementation

- Excellent communication skills

- Familiarity with good coding/scripting practices and commonly used version controlling systems

Recommended Skills:

- Experience in server-side frameworks such as Node.js/Php

- HTML, CSS, javascript, jQuery, AJAX, AngularJs, Pug.

- Experience in Database systems such as SQL or PostgreSql

- Good communication skills and creativity.

- Ability to work independently with required self-motivation.

- Preferred Knowledge of performance testing and tuning, REST API's.

- Prior experience with module packages, unit testing
